'CalmGrovePark began with one simple vision: to introduce real Neapolitan pizza to Via Roma 123. Established by the Romano family in 1985, our pizza shop was originally a modest, family-managed venue boasting recipes passed down for generations.
Marco Romano, our founder, mastered the craft of pizza-making during her explorations across Italy, apprenticing with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples—the true home of pizza. When she came back to the UK, her ambition was to replicate the enchantment of authentic Italian pizza with conventional techniques and superb ingredients.
From its humble beginnings as a tiny 12-seat eatery, it expanded into a cherished community fixture, yet our devotion to quality and authenticity has remained firm. We continue to practice the classic wood-fired oven methods, prepare our dough freshly each day, and select the finest ingredients available.
Presently, 'CalmGrovePark' continues to be a family-operated hub, with the next generation of the Romano lineage steering our enthusiastic crew. While we've adopted select contemporary innovations, the essence of our mission endures the same: to serve delectable, genuine pizza that unites people.
